BMED GRADUATE STUDENT ROOM RESERVATION PROCESS

Whitaker Building

Conference Rooms: 
Students may use the internal online system on the BME website (http://www.bme.gatech.edu/facultystaff/int_resources.shtml) for both conference room and equipment (such as laptops and projectors) reservations.

Classrooms:
The campus Space Planning office manages the classrooms in Whitaker.  Students should first check the Space Planning classroom availability website (http://www.oit.gatech.edu/service/classroom-support/building-details?building=165) to check the official class schedule for particular rooms. 

Rooms 1214 & 1232 -- After checking the Space Planning site, students should contact Beverly Peace (beverly.peace@spaceplan.gatech.edu) to reserve room 1214 or 1232. 

Room 1103 -- Students should first check the Space Planning website then check the BME internal reservation system (see Conference Rooms section above) to determine if the room is available.  To reserve the room, contact Pat Jordan (pat.jordan@bme.gatech.edu) with the following details:  Name of person making reservation, Name of event, Number of participants expected, Start and End time of event.

NOTE:  No reservations for classrooms can be made during the time period surrounding the start of a term until registration is closed.


Other Buildings in the Georgia Tech Biotech Quad

IBB (Petit):
To reserve all rooms in the IBB building, students should contact Karen Cannon at karen.cannon@ibb.gatech.edu.

ES&T (Ford):
To reserve classrooms in the ES&T building, students should check the Space Planning website (see Whitaker Classrooms section above) and then e-mail Beverly Peace.  To reserve other types of rooms in ES&T, contact Susan Ryan (susan.ryan@eas.gatech.edu) or Susan McCoy (susan.mccoy@chbe.gatech.edu).

M-Building (Molecular Science & Engineering):
To reserve classrooms in the ES&T building, students should check the Space Planning website (see Whitaker Classrooms section above) and then e-mail Beverly Peace.
